Primoris Canada seeks a Side Boom Operator for industrial work supporting oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil services. The work includes operating equipment safely, completing inspections, and moving materials, snow, and dirt. This physically demanding assignment requires industrial equipment experience, a valid operator’s card, and CSO certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate side boom and other required equipment safely
- Move and set pipe, materials, equipment, snow, and dirt
- Load and unload materials as required
- Complete pre-job equipment inspections before work
- Attend safety and tailgate or toolbox meetings
Requirements:
- Valid operator’s card for utilized equipment
- More than five years operating equipment on industrial worksites
- CSO certification required for the assignment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds physically
- Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing required
