This Heavy Equipment Operator Apprentice position provides training for candidates without prior operating experience. You will support road building, operate construction equipment, inspect machinery, and follow project plans and grade requirements. The role is rotational and camp-based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and articulated trucks
- Support earthworks, road building, and infrastructure construction
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow project plans, specifications,
and grade requirements
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and site crews
Requirements:
- No prior heavy equipment operating experience required; training provided
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work long shifts remotely
- Willingness to attend apprenticeship training and certification requirements
- Robust commitment to safety and teamwork
