The Operating

Room at TWH has 17 OR Suites and 2 Block Rooms for Regional Anesthesia. The OR has the unique ability to provide technologically advanced investigations and treatment in image guided brain and spinal surgery. Performing reflective practice, analyzing and evaluating nursing knowledge and modifying practice accordingly to improve the quality of nursing and patient care.

The majority of our patients require the following: neurosurgery, spinal surgery, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, hand and plastic surgery, urological surgery and ophthalmic surgery.

Current

Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required. Versatile and able to work effectively and efficiently within a interdisciplinary patient care team. Excellent computer skills. Completion of recognized certificated operating room nursing course.
