Clinical Biochemistry expertise leads laboratory quality at William Osler Health System, supporting specimen management, chemistry, and point-of-care services. The schedule is currently daytime, Monday to Friday.

As a Clinical Biochemist, you will provide physician authority across laboratory services and clinical programs. Your work includes pre-analytics, quality control, quality assurance, test interpretation, and regulatory standards. You will support clinical excellence, research, and continuous learning throughout Osler.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define pre-analytical and post-analytical testing standards
- Provide technical guidance for specimen assessment and troubleshooting
- Oversee proficiency testing and laboratory quality control




- Consult clinicians on test selection and interpretation
- Develop testing algorithms, guidelines, and care pathways

Requirements:

- PhD in Clinical Biochemistry or related field
- Minimum two years of medical laboratory experience
- Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry certification or eligibility
- Demonstrated Osler values of respect and collaboration
- Ability to travel between all Osler sites
