Position Title: Security Guard

Employment Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.06/hr

Site: Toyotetsu Canada Inc.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday (19:00 - 07:00)

Overtime Methodology: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Site Overview

Toyotetsu Canada Inc. is a premier automotive manufacturing facility based in Simcoe, Ontario. This active industrial facility relies on our safety and security team to maintain a safe, secure, and supportive environment for all personnel, contractors, and visitors on site.

What You'll Be Doing

- Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols across the facility.
- Respond quickly and effectively to routine incidents and emergency situations.
- Provide high-quality, courteous service to all staff and site visitors.
- Maintain a calm, professional composure during pressure situations or unusual circumstances.
- Write clear, concise, and accurate daily logs and incident reports.
- Escalate any operational issues or safety concerns to the Operations Manager.

Must Haves

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Valid certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB).
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Reliable transportation to the site.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, push a minimum of 25 lbs, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Working knowledge of relevant federal, provincial, and municipal laws and by-laws.
