Build production AI agents and platform capabilities as a Senior Software Engineer supporting an internal agentic engineering platform in Canada.

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a large retail client. You will work across AI engineering, platform engineering, and developer productivity. The platform supports requirements, design, implementation, testing, review, and verification throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities: Build and productionize AI agents and agentic workflows

Develop MCP, tool calling, and agent orchestration integrations

Create evals and guardrails for reliable agent outputs

Improve internal developer tooling and platform capabilities

Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation, and templates

Requirements: Senior-level software engineering experience

Hands-on AI agent development and production deployment experience

Experience with MCP, evals, guardrails, and agentic workflows

Strong platform or systems engineering background

Robust programming skills in Python and/or Java

Bring AI agent production, platform engineering, and developer tooling expertise to improve software delivery across the SDLC.
