Apply technical energy analysis and customer engagement at Festival Hydro while supporting electricity conservation programs across customer facilities.

This Energy Program Specialist supports eDSM initiatives funded through Ontario’s IESO framework, including Save on Energy programs. You will review electricity-use data, assess equipment, and identify practical efficiency opportunities. The work combines program administration, technical analysis, incentives, and customer guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support outreach through Save on Energy and IESO-funded programs
- Conduct site visits and preliminary energy-chance assessments
- Analyze consumption, demand profiles, schedules, and equipment information
- Calculate preliminary savings, incentives, costs, and simple payback




- Guide customers through applications, implementation, and energy planning

Requirements:

- Technical diploma or degree in energy or engineering-related field
- Experience with energy efficiency, building systems, utilities, or technical advisory work
- Knowledge of HVAC, motors, pumps, refrigeration, lighting, or controls
- Ability to interpret interval data and perform spreadsheet calculations
- Valid driver’s license and customer-site travel ability
