Provide client-centred nursing care with Vancouver Coastal Health in the Discharge Lounge at Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC. Apply clinical assessment and discharge planning skills.

This Registered Nurse position supports assigned patients and clients independently and within an interdisciplinary care team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while advocating for clients and teaching families. The role follows BCCNM standards, VCH policies, and client and family centred care practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care
- Participate in discharge planning and advocate for clients
- Teach clients and families about illness, injury, and wellness




- Document care and respond to incidents according to policies
- Collaborate with health care providers and designated teams

Requirements:

- Current practicing registration with BCCNM as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated nursing practice related to designated client groups
- Ability to develop and implement care plans
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated CPR and clinical technique skills
