Support waste management operations onsite at Peel Region’s Brampton CRC through customer service, traffic direction, and equipment maintenance. This part time contract serves residents safely.
As a Labourer, Waste Management, you will support Community Recycling Centres, Transfer Stations, and Compost Facilities. You will direct vehicles and materials, answer residents’ questions, guide proper disposal, and assist the Sub-Foreperson. The assignment is a nine month short term contract with scheduled weekend and weekday hours.
Key Responsibilities: Direct vehicles and materials safely at waste facilities
Provide prompt and effective customer service
Maintain site, buildings, and overall cleanliness
Load and unload supplies and equipment
Perform winter maintenance and landscaping duties
Requirements: Grade 12 education or equivalent
Six months of job related experience
Class G licence in good standing
Operate and maintain manual and power equipment
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Bring communication, mechanical aptitude, and safe operating skills to Peel Region’s onsite waste management services in Brampton.
