Operate mowers, tractors, and seasonal grounds equipment as a Parks Operator for the City of Windsor. This regular full-time position requires safe, efficient equipment operation.
Working in Parks, Recreation and Facilities, you will maintain parks, sports fields, and seasonal grounds across wide-ranging terrain. Duties include landscaping, facility caretaking, vehicle operation, equipment checks, and public assistance. The position requires one year of relevant equipment operation or property maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities: Operate mowers, tractors, trucks, and small equipment
Cut grass, spread seed, plough snow, and spread salt
Maintain playgrounds, sports fields, picnic areas, and facilities
Complete equipment checks, repairs, logs, and assigned forms




Assist facility users and monitor Parks By-Laws and Regulations
Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalency
One year of equipment operation or property maintenance experience
Valid Class G Driver's Licence and driver's abstract
Availability for Sunday through Saturday shifts and statutory holidays
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act hazards
Support Windsor’s parks system through equipment operation, grounds maintenance, public assistance, and accurate daily records.
