Lead remote camp kitchen service as a Chef with LandSea, preparing quality dishes and maintaining safe food operations near Terrace, British Columbia.
This Chef role supports workforce accommodation and catering at a remote camp approximately five to six hours north of Terrace. Responsibilities include menu planning, recipe execution, kitchen organization, food safety, inventory, and staff supervision. The position follows a four weeks on, two weeks off rotation with scheduled ten or twelve-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Plan menus and contribute new seasonal dishes
Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff
Manage inventory, food costs, and supply ordering
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and sanitation compliance
Requirements: Five or more years of Chef experience
Remote camp or hotel experience preferred
Mandatory Journeyman or Red Seal Cook certification
Valid WHMIS, Food Secure Advanced, and First Aid certifications
Leadership, cooking, and food safety knowledge
