Serve acute in-patient needs as a Casual Physiotherapist with Fraser Health, applying assessment and treatment planning at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
This Casual Physiotherapist position supports Fraser Health’s Acute In-Patient team in Surrey, B.C. You will assess physical status, establish diagnoses and prognoses, and develop evidence-based interventions. Patient and family-centered care, interprofessional collaboration, and documentation are central to the work. Patient education and consultation support self-management and health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Assess physical status, functional abilities, needs, and patient goals
Develop and implement evidence-based, outcome-focused intervention strategies
Educate patients and caregivers about self-management and injury prevention
Collaborate on care planning, transfers,



and discharge plans
Evaluate interventions and document patient progress and treatment results
Requirements: Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
Knowledge of physiotherapy theory, practice, tests, and measures
Effective verbal and written interprofessional communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Physical ability to perform position duties
Apply physiotherapy assessment, treatment planning, education, and collaboration skills within Fraser Health’s acute in-patient services.
