Apply analytical chemistry skills as a Quality Control Chemist with BIOVECTRA in Windsor, Nova Scotia, using HPLC, GC, and UV-VIS.
This full time permanent position supports BIOVECTRA, part of Agilent’s Advanced Manufacturing Partnerships Division. You will analyze materials using laboratory instrumentation, maintain records, complete calculations, and support quality control activities. The schedule includes rotating 12-hour day and night shifts on a long-week, short-week pattern.
Key Responsibilities: Perform HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, PCR, and electrophoretic assays
Maintain accurate, real-time laboratory activity records
Complete calculations using spreadsheets or validated systems




Calibrate instruments and document routine maintenance activities
Identify out-of-specification results and alert supervisors
Requirements: Diploma from a recognized Chemical Technology program
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred
Technical proficiency with laboratory instrumentation preferred
Knowledge of cGMP guidelines considered an asset
Bring instrumental analysis, documentation, and quality control capabilities to BIOVECTRA’s Windsor laboratory within Agilent’s manufacturing division.
