Provide overnight clinical assessment and nursing care at Haven Toronto through the Hospital Overflow Program. Work part-time on scheduled overnight shifts.

The Registered Practical Nurse works with St. Michael’s Homes and hospital partners to support clients redirected from emergency departments. This role provides basic nursing care, monitoring, and continuity of care. It requires assessment, documentation, and collaboration with primary care providers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform clinical assessments for clients with varied diagnoses
- Provide general nursing, wound care, and foot care
- Monitor client safety throughout overnight program hours
- Connect with physicians and communicate client information appropriately
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and statistical data

Requirements:

- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Current Registered Practical Nurse license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience supporting mental illness or addiction issues
- Front-line harm reduction nursing experience
