Lead environmental health and safety across Trulite’s glass and aluminum manufacturing operation, applying OHSA expertise on the production floor. Work day shifts from 8am to 5pm, with afternoon coverage when needed.

As EHS Specialist, you will manage compliance with Ontario OHSA, O. Reg. 851, WSIB requirements, and environmental legislation. The role combines hazard assessments, incident investigations, training, inspections, and environmental compliance. You will work with supervisors, operators, maintenance, HR, plant leadership, and the JHSC.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain health and safety programs, policies, and secure work procedures
- Lead hazard assessments, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions
- Manage WSIB claims, notifications, metrics, and return-to-work coordination




- Deliver safety training and support JHSC operations
- Oversee PPE, industrial hygiene, waste, spills, and emergency preparedness

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in occupational health and safety or related field
- Three or more years of manufacturing EHS experience
- Working knowledge of OHSA, O. Reg. 851, WHMIS, and WSIB
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis experience
- JHSC Certification and First Aid/CPR, or willingness to obtain
