Support secure hydropower construction as an HSE Officer with ANDRITZ Canada, combining site inspections, reporting, and regulatory compliance across Canadian projects.

This temporary Site HSE Officer assignment belongs to QHSE Management within ANDRITZ Canada’s Hydropower business area. You will work with Site Managers, Supervisors, Quality Assurance Specialists, and Administrators to maintain safe project execution. The position combines site-office documentation with field activities and follows a 14/7 schedule of days, nights, and time off.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure HSE requirements follow plans, standards, regulations, and customer requirements
- Support Site Managers with safety instructions and HSE management
- Perform inspections, safety checks, and toolbox talks




- Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Coordinate training, committees, emergency programs, and audits

Requirements:

- Minimum three years’ HSE experience in construction or heavy industries
- University degree in Health and Safety or equivalent
- Knowledge of provincial construction safety legislation
- Auditor, trainer, communication, and root cause analysis skills
- Willingness to travel and maintain a flexible work schedule
