Support daily living and personal care as a Health Care Aide with Winnipeg Regional Health Authority in Winnipeg’s community health services. This in-person position includes days, evenings, and weekends.
The Health Care Aide provides direct care under general supervision across community settings, health care centres, and hospitals. You will assist clients, patients, and residents with changing needs while supporting independence, comfort, privacy, and respect. Solid communication, organization, and critical thinking support this clinical support position.
Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with activities of daily living
Provide direct care within established standards and procedures
Support independence and optimum health within individual abilities
Communicate with clients, families, and co-workers
Organize and prioritize assigned workload
Requirements: Recognized Health Care Aide course completion
Minimum Grade 10 education under Manitoba standards
Effective English communication, orally and in writing
Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word and Outlook
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and independently
Bring personal care, communication, and critical thinking skills to Health Care Aide services supporting Winnipeg clients’ independence.
