Deliver radiation therapy at Lakeridge Health Oshawa using simulation, treatment planning, and patient-focused clinical care. This temporary full-time contract includes wide-ranging shifts.
As a DRCC Radiation Therapist, you will perform radiation treatment procedures within the regional radiation therapy program. Your work includes patient education, treatment delivery, basic dosimetry, brachytherapy, and treatment monitoring. You will follow College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario standards.
Key Responsibilities: Perform simulation, treatment delivery, dosimetry, and brachytherapy procedures
Record treatment procedures, calculations, doses, and relevant information
Educate patients about prescribed radiation therapy treatments
Verify treatment parameters, images, accessories,
and R&V; data
Perform daily quality assurance procedures for assigned units
Requirements: MRT(T) qualification from a recognized radiation therapy program
Registration with the Canadian Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
Current CPR registration
Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
