This Intermediate Civil Technologist supports the Municipal and Transportation Infrastructure team. The work includes civil design drawings, specifications, contract documents, and construction coordination. Projects cover water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater management, site grading, roads, bridges, and culverts.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Develop and review civil engineering design drawings
Coordinate designs with the engineering Design Team




Conduct site inspections and materials testing as required
Manage construction contracts and liaise with clients and contractors
Requirements: Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
Three to five years of municipal civil engineering experience
Member or eligibility for membership in ASET
Proficiency with Civil3D software
Knowledge of general construction methods and robust communication skills
Apply civil design, Civil3D, and construction coordination expertise to municipal infrastructure projects serving Grande Prairie.
