Working in Cardiac Catheterization Diagnostic Services, you will assist cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons. Diagnostic and interventional procedures may involve neonates, children, and adults. The position may also include pacemaker duties, requiring communication, organization, and independent work.
Key Responsibilities: Assist cardiologists during diagnostic cardiovascular procedures
Support cardiovascular surgeons during interventional procedures
Work with neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients
Perform pacemaker duties when required
Requirements: Bachelor degree in a stated health care field
Registration with Canadian Association of Cardiopulmonary Technologists
Drug administration and intravenous injection course
Analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently with basic computer skills
Use cardiovascular technology, communication, and analytical skills supporting cardiac procedures at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.
