Support senior residents with daily living, hygiene, and meaningful connections as a Health Care Aide at Medicine Hat Care Community.
Reporting to a Wellness Manager, you will serve residents within Sienna Senior Living’s Long Term Care team. You will build relationships with residents and families while providing assistance based on individual care plans. Your work supports comfort, dignity, respect, and daily well-being.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and assist residents with daily activities
Support eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming needs
Encourage use of glasses, hearing aids, and mobility devices
Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
Encourage participation in individual and group programs
Requirements: Completed an approved college Health Care Aide program
Compassion for supporting seniors in living fully
Proficiency in easy treatment procedures and bedside care
Tact and diplomacy with seniors, families, and visitors
Eligibility to work in Canada and successful Vulnerable Sector Check
Bring compassionate resident care, daily living assistance, and respectful communication to Sienna’s Medicine Hat care community.
