Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant within a boutique accounting, tax, and advisory firm. You will serve privately held businesses, manage client files, communicate with owners, and work closely with Partners and Managers. The position supports continued public practice progression toward Manager-level responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: Own year-end engagements from information gathering through completion
Prepare working papers, adjusting entries, and financial statements
Complete corporate and personal tax returns
Communicate with clients and maintain engagement schedules




Review junior work and provide practical coaching
Requirements: CPA designation or significant CPA program progress
Approximately 3-5+ years of Canadian public practice experience
Robust privately held company year-end file experience
Knowledge of Canadian corporate and personal tax compliance
Working knowledge of ASPE and accounting issues
Apply public practice, tax compliance, client management, and financial reporting skills across privately held businesses in Langley.
