Lead power hardware design for Packet Optical Transport products with Insight Global’s client, collaborating across electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines.
This senior engineer develops product-level power systems, subcomponent designs, and circuit pack power solutions. The work spans concept through manufacturing for Packet Optical Transport, Data Center Interconnect, and Switching products. You will report to the Senior Manager, Hardware Engineering.
Key Responsibilities: Develop product-level power systems and circuit pack solutions
Document designs throughout the product development cycle
Test components and systems using power lab equipment
Troubleshoot performance issues with software teams
Resolve hardware build challenges with manufacturing teams




Requirements: Bachelor of Engineering degree and extensive relevant experience
10+ years with electrical power systems in industrial or utility environments
Expertise in system power, grounding, and circuit pack design
Experience with measurement techniques and PCB design tools
Ability to analyze technical data and solve complex engineering problems
Apply senior power hardware expertise, testing capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration to advance complex product development programs.
