Smith + Andersen seeks a Designer with at least three years of electrical building services experience. You will support system design, technical analysis, and multidisciplinary coordination across building projects. The work includes lighting, power distribution, electrical rooms, load calculations, and construction administration. Revit experience is required, alongside knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage, and Dynamo. A diploma or degree in an electrical building services or engineering program is expected, while C.E.T. candidates with equivalent experience may be considered.
Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems according to codes, standards, and office requirements
Develop lighting, power distribution,



and electrical room layouts
Perform electrical load calculations for base building projects
Coordinate layouts with structural, architectural, and mechanical disciplines
Review shop drawings, site conditions, and construction changes
Requirements: Three years of direct electrical building services experience
Diploma or degree in electrical building services or engineering
Autodesk Revit 2017 or newer experience with electrical systems
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage, and Dynamo
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
