Support residents directly as a casual Personal Support Worker at Southbridge Kemptville LTC in Kemptville, Ontario. Provide personal and nursing care.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this PSW supports residents' physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. The position includes bathing, feeding, grooming, ambulation, activities, documentation, and care planning. Long-term care experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming
Support participation in resident activity programs
Deliver meals and nourishment, providing feeding assistance
Provide emotional, social, and palliative care support
Participate in care conferences and resident documentation
Requirements: Complete a qualifying PSW program of at least 600 hours
Understand care planning systems and documentation
Communicate positively with residents, families, and staff
Read and write English and understand English instructions
Complete vulnerable sector and two-step TB checks
Bring compassionate resident care, documentation, and communication skills to Southbridge Kemptville LTC as a casual Personal Support Worker.
