As Food Service Manager, you will oversee food services operations for Chartwell communities. You will plan daily and special event menus, supervise staff, and build resident relationships. The position combines budgeting, purchasing, compliance, and service leadership to support meaningful dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Plan menus meeting individual dietary needs
Supervise, train, and develop food services staff
Manage budgets, purchasing, and food costs
Resolve resident and family concerns
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Requirements: Two years supervisory food service experience
One year front-of-house customer service experience
Food and Beverage Management diploma or equivalent
Leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Food safety and special diets knowledge is an asset
