Support learning at Dunlop Public School as a School Library Technician with cataloguing, research, and library software experience. This is a part time, 40% regular position.
Under the direction of the Principal or designate, the School Library Technician provides technical and public library services. The role supports library operations through materials management, reference services, research, and support materials. Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are central to serving students, staff, parents, and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities: Organize, maintain, select, and order print materials
Circulate print and non-print library materials
Provide reference services and research support




Prepare support materials for units of study
Perform supervisory, clerical, and public relations activities
Requirements: Diploma in Library and Information Technician
One to two years of library experience
Understanding of cataloguing and classification systems
Research skills and proficiency with computer applications
Experience operating and maintaining library software
Bring library operations, research, organization, and communication skills to support learning at Dunlop Public School.
