Safely transport Winnipeg students as a School Bus Driver, following prescribed routes and completing daily vehicle safety inspections. The position serves schools throughout the school year.
Under the Transportation Supervisor, the School Bus Driver transports students to school and school-related activities. The work requires route adherence, regulatory compliance, passenger supervision, and transparent communication. Drivers interact courteously with parents, employees, passengers, coworkers, and the public.
Key Responsibilities: Drive students safely to and from school daily
Transport students to school-related activities safely
Complete and document daily vehicle circle checks
Follow Division and government regulations, laws, and policies




Communicate professionally with students, families, and staff
Requirements: Class 2 License and School Bus Operators Certificate
Clear driver’s abstract covering the past five years
Ability to supervise passengers under care
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Clear Child Abuse Registry and Police Information Checks
Support safe student transportation with route discipline, vehicle inspections, passenger supervision, and courteous communication for Winnipeg School Division.
