Support patient rehabilitation at Oak Valley Health using exercise programs, gait training, ADL support, and cooperative communication. Work eight-hour shifts across seven days weekly.
As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you support Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists within an interprofessional healthcare team. Under supervision, you carry out patient exercise programs, provide gait and balance training, conduct exercise groups, and support individual and group treatment programs. You also assist with ADL training and make assistive devices.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out developed patient exercise programs

Implement treatment programs and make assistive devices




Manage equipment and maintain therapy spaces
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Canadian OTA or PTA program
Related rehabilitation, physiotherapy, or occupational assistant experience
Required BLS Certification
Excellent communication and collaborative interpersonal skills
Proficient computer skills with MS Office
