Receive freight at Walmart’s Calgary distribution centre using accurate product verification and pallet assembly. This role is based in Calgary, Alberta.
As a Distribution Centre Team Associate, you will receive incoming freight and complete receiving procedures accurately. Your work includes unloading shipments, checking product counts, matching labels, assembling pallets, and transporting freight between departments. You will also maintain health, safety, housekeeping, and associate-related programs according to company policy and legislation.
Key Responsibilities: Unload freight and verify products and counts before receiving
Remove shrink wrap and match shipment labels to products
Assemble pallets according to designated Ti/Hi specifications




Transport freight to various distribution centre departments
Complete receiving paperwork accurately and on time
Requirements: Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly for up to 10 hours
Wear steel-toed safety shoes or boots on the first day
Use additional required personal protective equipment when appropriate
Be 18 years of age or older
Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping compliance
Support Walmart freight receiving in Calgary through careful verification, pallet assembly, transportation, and accurate receiving documentation.
