Deliver radiation therapy at Lakeridge Health Oshawa using simulation, treatment planning, and patient-focused care. This regular part time position includes days, evenings, on-call coverage, and eight-hour shifts subject to change.
As a DRCC Radiation Therapist, you will perform the regional radiation treatment process from patient education through treatment monitoring. Responsibilities include basic dosimetry, brachytherapy, treatment delivery, and verifying treatment parameters. You will maintain accurate records and support quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities: Perform simulation, treatment planning, delivery, dosimetry, and brachytherapy
Verify dose distribution, images, accessories, and R&V; data
Educate patients about prescribed radiation treatment procedures
Maintain treatment records, calculations,



doses, and relevant information
Complete daily and departmental quality assurance procedures
Requirements: Graduate of a recognized Radiation Therapy training program
Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
Current CPR registration
Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Initiative, problem solving, adaptability, and satisfactory performance record
