This is an immediate opportunity for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and experience operating within a disciplined monthly close and internal control environment.Location: On-site in Winnipeg, MBWhat You'll DoPrepare monthly bank reconciliations for domestic and international bank accounts, reconciling bank activity to the general ledger and other applicable accounting records.Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and within established monthly close deadlines.Identify, research, document, and resolve reconciling items, including outstanding checks, deposits in transit, bank fees, returned payments, unidentified receipts or disbursements, transfers in transit, and other timing or posting differences.Investigate aged or unusual reconciling items and coordinate with Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, business unit finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.Prepare and record correcting journal entries identified through the reconciliation process.Maintain appropriate supporting documentation and evidence of preparation in accordance with company policies and internal control requirements.Monitor outstanding reconciling items and ... unresolved or unusual items in accordance with established procedures.Support the standardization and continuous improvement of bank reconciliation processes across the organization.Position RequirementsMust be eligible to work in Canada on a permanent basisMinimum 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury or a related roleStrong hands‐on reconciliation experience,
