AbleLiving Services, part of Thrive Group, operates the York supportive housing program in an apartment setting. This position provides non-medical personal support, light housekeeping, and appointment assistance. Previous caregiving experience is welcome, while Personal Support Worker certification is an asset rather than a requirement.
Key Responsibilities: Provide non-medical personal support services to clients
Assist clients with personal care needs
Provide life-skills support for independent living
Arrange and escort clients to appointments
Complete light housekeeping duties in clients' homes
Requirements: High School Diploma
Flexible availability for days, afternoons, and nights
Availability every other weekend and statutory holidays
Previous caregiving experience is beneficial
Personal Support Worker certificate is an asset
