Support online high school learners through individualized plans, student care, and safety needs at Summit Trails Online High School. This temporary full time position runs 30 hours weekly.
Rocky View Schools seeks an Online Learning Assistant for students in grades 10-12. Reporting to the Principal, you will collaborate with teachers to implement programs for learners with complex needs. The work promotes health, learning, independence, and positive behaviour supports.
Key Responsibilities: Assist students according to individualized plans and identified supports
Implement strategies from PLPs, IPPs, BSPs, safety, and medical plans
Record observations and data about behavioural challenges
Support personal care, movement, hygiene, eating, and feeding




Assist with directed medical needs and routine requirements
Requirements: Educational Assistant Certificate or related certificate or diploma
Preventative or de-escalating behaviour training, or willingness to certify
One year supporting challenging behaviour is considered an asset
CPR or First Aid certification, or willingness to certify
Microsoft Office Suite and web-based application proficiency
Bring student support, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills to promote learner health and independence at Summit Trails.
