As an Assistant Underwriter, you will support the Commercial Insurance team under the Team Leader, Technical Processing. Your work includes gathering recent-business information, processing transactions, maintaining data, and completing documentation. You will collaborate with underwriting technicians and underwriters while managing multiple systems and databases.
Key Responsibilities: Gather background information for new commercial business
Process renewals, endorsements, certificates, inspections, and quotations
Enter and organize policy documentation in commercial insurance systems




Order reports and follow up on outstanding requirements
Handle billing inquiries and support general office duties
Requirements: High school diploma and relevant work experience
At least two years of insurance experience
Underwriting support or technician experience preferred
Strong computer skills with databases or portals
English proficiency required; French bilingualism is an asset
