Drive financial planning at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. with strong analysis, forecasting, and reporting skills. Support targets across Liberty’s utility business.
As an Analyst II, you will help develop five-year business plans, annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and quarterly performance reports. You will provide managerial oversight and financial analysis, supporting business decisions and operational performance. The work includes GAAP and IFRS methodologies, capital and O&M; expenditure planning, and financial recommendations.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and consolidate five-year business plan development
Prepare budgets, forecasts, metrics, and performance analyses
Align financial functions with policies and internal controls




Develop allocation recommendations with Manager support
Prepare business cases for strategic initiatives
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Two to three years of financial work experience
Solid analytical, spreadsheet, and communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with GAAP and IFRS disciplines
Apply financial planning, forecasting, and analytical expertise to support Liberty’s business performance and utility investment decisions.
