Position Title: Elementary Classroom Teacher

As a central division of the Society, Regent Christian Academy (RCA) is our flagship campus-based school, serving the community through our Sullivan and Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC. We bring the RCAS mission to life through a vibrant, in-person learning community where students from Preschool through Grade 12 engage in rigorous academics, competitive athletics, and the fine arts. Overview: The Elementary Classroom Teacher must be a dedicated and passionate educator who creates a nurturing, stimulating, and Christ-centered learning environment. They will be responsible for fostering the academic and social development of young minds, with a specific focus on core curriculum areas such as Math and English.

Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Excellence: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the BC Ministry of Education's standards and a Biblical worldview.
Classroom Culture: Create a positive environment that encourages student participation and fosters a lifelong love for learning.




Assessment & Support: Evaluate student progress through diverse methods and provide individualized support or tutoring to ensure every child reaches their learning goals.
Collaboration: Work effectively with parents, students, and colleagues, modeling servant leadership and a collaborative spirit.
Skilled Growth: Maintain accurate records and participate in professional development to stay current with innovative teaching strategies (such as "Frenchify" techniques).

Spiritual Integration: Ability to integrate a Biblical worldview into the BC Ministry curriculum and provide spiritual mentorship.
Instructional Excellence: Proficiency in teaching core subjects (Math/English) with a focus on student engagement and academic growth.

Classroom Management: Skill in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters a love for learning.

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: CA $53,000 - 95,000 annually
Benefits: Extended Health & Dental, Pension plan available upon eligibility.
Requirements & Qualifications:
BC Teaching Certificate (Required).
BA Degree in Education (or equivalent) with a relevant specialty.
Christian Education: A clear understanding of, and commitment to, Christian education and a Christian and Biblical worldview.
Skills: Proficiency in Math and English, strong classroom management skills, and familiarity with office software for administrative tasks.
