Build automotive dismantling skills at LKQ Corporation by supporting vehicle disassembly, parts tagging, and safe processing procedures. This is an in office facility role.
The Dismantler supports the Processing Department under Production Manager direction. You will assist Dismantler/Trainers, learn parts storage systems, and work with Engine Dismantlers as needed. Background in body repair, mechanics, or dismantling supports this work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Dismantler/Trainer with dismantling vehicles
- Learn dismantling, tagging, and parts storage procedures
- Work with Engine Dismantlers as needed
- Follow applicable federal, state, provincial, and local standards
- Complete additional assigned duties
Requirements:
- Background in body repair, mechanics, or dismantling
- Own tools may be required for assigned duties
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
