Carewest seeks a Registered Nurse with advanced mental health expertise for regular part-time or casual work at Bridgeland Riverside Care Centre.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this RN supports adults with complex mental health conditions, addictions, and co-occurring needs. The position emphasizes trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, culturally protected, and person-directed care. Strong therapeutic communication and crisis intervention skills are central to supporting client wellness and independence.
Key Responsibilities: Complete comprehensive physical, psychological, and behavioural client assessments
Develop and implement individualized plans of care
Monitor client conditions and ongoing care




Administer medications and supervise unregulated medication delivery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
Requirements: Graduate from a recognized nursing program
Current active registration with the CRNA
Current active Basic Life Support Provider CPR certification
Advanced mental health nursing expertise
Three years’ general nursing experience and demonstrated leadership preferred
