The Building Maintenance Coordinator oversees Town-owned buildings and facilities while reporting to the Director of Community Services. This experienced position coordinates preventative maintenance, facility projects, staff leadership, and contractor activities. Its purpose is maintaining safe, effective, and cost-effective facilities supporting essential community services.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee maintenance, repairs, and efficient facility operations
Provide leadership to facility maintenance staff
Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and planning
Manage facility projects, budgets, and contractors




Balance physical, administrative, and changing operational priorities
Requirements: 5th Class Power Engineering certification or equivalent trade qualification
Minimum five years facility or mechanical maintenance experience
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, automation, and security systems
Experience supervising staff, managing projects, and coordinating contractors
Valid Alberta Class 5 licence and required certifications
