This hybrid role (remote and in-office) involves supporting the company's rapid growth by managing contract lifecycles and implementing legal technology tools under the supervision of the Vice President, General Counsel.
Key Eligibility Criteria
Legal Qualification: Member of the Quebec Bar or the bar association of another Canadian province.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
Languages:
Advanced proficiency in both English and French (required for daily collaboration with international partners).
Preferred Assets: Experience in Intellectual Property (IP), biotechnology, or the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a broad range of contracts (confidentiality agreements, service agreements, licenses, clinical trial agreements).
Act as the internal coordinator for contract management in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Manage the internal Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution and generate related reports/analytics.
Support the continuous improvement of standard contract templates and corporate policies.
Assist with the implementation of technology tools to enhance legal team efficiency.
