Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians maintain diesel, CNG, gas, and electric trucks in Cranbrook, BC. GFL Environmental offers this in office fleet position.
This mechanic role requires at least one year of Red Seal Heavy Duty experience. You will repair and maintain trucks and associated heavy-duty equipment using power tools, hand instruments, and specialized equipment. Accurate reporting and independent work are central to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair diesel, CNG, gas, and electric trucks
Rebuild motorized equipment and associated heavy-duty equipment
Complete daily reports and work orders accurately
Order parts and schedule repairs in M5 planner
Review mechanical write-ups and coordinate repair schedules
Requirements: Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic experience of one year or more
High school diploma or GED
Technical diploma desired
Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records
Ability to push, pull, bend, lift, kneel, crawl, and climb
Bring Red Seal certification, fleet maintenance expertise, and accurate repair planning to GFL Environmental’s Cranbrook operations.
