Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hair Stylist to deliver high-quality hair services and create a welcoming, professional experience for every client. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent customer service, sound sanitation practices, and the ability to support salon operations. This role may also include helping clients select products and assisting with front desk duties as needed.

Responsibilities

- Consult with clients to understand their preferences, hair goals, and service needs.

- Provide professional hair styling services, such as cutting, blow-drying, and finishing, within the scope of your training and experience.

- Recommend suitable styles, treatments, and at-home hair care products based on each client’s needs.

- Build lasting client relationships through attentive service, clear communication, and consistent follow-through.

- Maintain clean, organized workstations and tools, following salon sanitation and safety procedures.

- Support retail sales by explaining product features and offering relevant recommendations without pressuring clients.

- Assist with front desk tasks when needed, including welcoming clients,



coordinating appointments, and helping maintain an orderly salon environment.

- Contribute to a collaborative team culture and share knowledge or guidance with less-experienced stylists when appropriate.

Skills

- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in hair styling and client consultations.

- Strong customer service skills and a professional, client-focused approach.

- Knowledge of sanitation practices and the ability to maintain a clean, safe workspace.

- Transparent, courteous communication skills, including the ability to listen carefully and explain recommendations.

- Comfort with upselling relevant services or products through thoughtful, needs-based recommendations.

- Interest or experience in retail sales and product education.

- Willingness to assist with front desk responsibilities and support day-to-day salon operations.

- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
