Lead hydrometallurgy research programs at SGS through technical coordination, project scheduling, client communication, and pilot plant planning. Some travel is required.

This senior position manages laboratory and pilot plant projects from planning through completion. You will coordinate metallurgists, engineers, technical staff, and technicians while meeting client requirements.

Responsibilities include proposals, budgets, reports, equipment oversight, and quality priorities.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in hydrometallurgy, engineering, or related science

Eight to ten years’ minerals-related experience or equivalent

Experience with hydrometallurgy, mineral processing, or gold extraction

Robust leadership and technical team supervision experience

Technical reporting, budgeting, communication, and computer software proficiency
