About Our Client: Canadian based REIT company that is globally recognized, is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst - Reporting to join their team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Accounting and Financial Reporting, the Senior Financial Analyst - Reporting tasks will follow:
Responsibilities Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including financial statements and operating costs
Journal entries / accruals; ensuring accurate revenue recognition
Bank reconciliations
Support with note disclosures and MD&A;
Preparing variance, trend and other required ad-hoc analysis
Supporting the external audit process and providing guidance to overall accounting and finance team
Qualifications Post secondary education in accounting, finance or business
3+ years of progressive financial reporting experience
2 + years Big 4 experience
IFRS knowledge
Experience working within the real estate space




Intermediate Excel skills and a robust aptitude for systems
CPA designated or really close
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational abilities
Positive attitude towards being in office
