Teach Alberta curriculum at ACA while supporting students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development in a safe learning environment.
The Teacher provides standards-aligned instruction and contributes to ACA’s Christ-centered mission. This position requires assessment, collaboration, educational technology, and solid relationships with families. You will support diverse learners through planning, differentiation, and inclusive classroom practices.
Key Responsibilities: Plan engaging lessons aligned with Alberta Education standards
Use assessment data to inform instruction and feedback
Create positive, inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms
Support student well-being and individualized learning needs
Participate in school events and co-curricular programs
Requirements: Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification
Eligibility for an Alberta teaching certificate
Knowledge of Alberta Program of Studies and pedagogy
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or learning systems
Required criminal record and child intervention checks
Bring thoughtful instruction, assessment expertise, collaboration, and Christ-centered leadership to ACA’s learning community.
