Lead PetSmart store operations through merchandising, inventory management, and pet care while guiding associates as a full time retail leader.
As a Retail Operations Lead, you share responsibility for operational excellence while upholding PetSmart’s vision, mission, values, and strategy. You will support associate development through training, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and feedback. The work also includes point-of-sale systems, store standards, opening and closing procedures, and safe pet care.
Key Responsibilities: Guide associates in merchandise handling and product presentation standards
Execute receiving, product placement, seasonal displays, and promotions
Manage inventory levels, audits, discrepancies, and replenishment recommendations
Maintain pet care standards,



including cleaning, feeding, and watering
Act as leader on duty, assigning tasks and addressing concerns
Requirements: Two or more years of retail supervisory experience
Customer-focused environment experience
Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Computer application proficiency and strong communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Bring retail supervision, inventory expertise, associate coaching, and pet care commitment to PetSmart’s store operations.
