Support residents at Meadow Ridge Seniors Village through personal care, mobility assistance, and compassionate communication under nurse direction. Various shifts are available.
As a Health Care Aide, you will support residents’ daily living needs while respecting dignity, choice, autonomy, and confidentiality. The position promotes independence and optimal functioning across mind, body, and spirit. You will follow individualized care plans, communicate with families, and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning.
Key Responsibilities: Provide holistic personal care according to individualized care plans
Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, transfers, meals, and hydration
Encourage social, physical, spiritual, and recreational participation




Observe resident changes and report relevant information to nurses
Document care information before the end of each shift
Requirements: Graduate from a recognized Health Care Aide program
Current registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
Communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
Demonstrate patience, kindness, compassion, and respectful collaboration
Meet physical requirements including lifting, walking, bending, and reaching
Bring resident-focused care, secure transfers, effective communication, and compassion to Meadow Ridge Seniors Village as a Health Care Aide.
