Key Responsibilities: Prepare nutritious snacks and meals for childcare facilities
Provide snack support to local YMCA School Age Programs
Order and purchase food within budget requirements
Plan meals for health and religious dietary restrictions
Consult with directors, centre teams, and dietary planners
Requirements: Valid public-health-recognized Food Handler’s Certification
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Current Vulnerable Criminal Reference Check for applicants aged eighteen-plus
Up-to-date immunizations required by public health, Ministry of Education, and YMCA
Ability to lift twenty kilograms, bend, and stoop
Use food planning, purchasing, and dietary knowledge to support safe, inclusive nutrition for children at the YMCA.
