YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD seeks a permanent Lunchtime Supervisor under the School Principal’s direction. The position involves supervising students, encouraging respectful behavior, and communicating concerns. Experience with children and good communication skills are important.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise students indoors and outdoors during lunch breaks
Monitor behavior and encourage respect, kindness, and inclusivity
Report misconduct and atypical situations to school leadership
Support appropriate play and watch out-of-bounds areas
Assist with emergencies, training sessions, and staff meetings
Requirements: Less than high school graduation plus additional training or education
Minimum one month of required experience
Experience working with children
Positive communication skills and positive demeanor
Ability to respect school confidentiality requirements
Bring careful supervision, child-focused communication, and positive guidance to students at Our Lady of the Rosary.
